I'm leaving for PDX in just a few moments, and won't be back until late Tuesday night, so no blog this week.

I know. I know. It's tragic.

I've been in a nostalgic mood lately. Not sure if its because my book takes place in the 1990s (when I was a youth) or if its just seeing all of this bad news that makes me itching for an "easier time". Anyway. Here are some podcasts that may fill that nostalgic hole in your heart too:

The Babysitters Club Club

Yes, that's right. A podcast that is dedicated only to Ann M Martin's "The Babysitters Club". 2 dudes chat about plot, themes, and literary tropes of the series. It's funny, nostalgic, witty, and just an easy listening podcast.

Popcorn!

A podcasts where two friends and the occasional special guest discuss cult movies from the 80s and 90s. They do a "brief" synopsis and then take a deep dive into the metaphors and themes. And if you think there aren't some deep themes in movies like "The Muppets take Manhattan" or "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" then you're wrong.

This is a podcast solely about Jurassic Park and the franchise at large. Toys, movies, books, all of it. It's a podcast about JURASSIC PARK! WHat more do I need to say to get you to listen?
